Bali Foreign Investment Advisory Opens New Concept Office in Perenenean, Bali to Further Promote an Inclusive and Sustainable Economy

As global economic dynamics remain uncertain with the possibility of a prolonged recession threatening economies worldwide, Bali has shown remarkable resilience and recovery following the end of the global Covid-19 pandemic.

In alignment with the Indonesian government’s G20 theme, the Bali Foreign Investment Advisory Service (BFIA) continues its mission of promoting and supporting “Advancing Innovative, Inclusive, and Collaborative Growth” while contributing to both Bali’s and Indonesia’s economic landscape.

BFIA offers unique services, including a one-business-day establishment service for the PTPMA (Perseroan Terbatas Penanaman Modal Asing or Foreign Investment Limited Liability Company) and a specialized custodianship service designed to protect foreign investors regarding their assets, businesses, or individual investment activities. This national service is facilitated by the experienced independent Notary whom holds an office in the BKPM (Indonesia’s Foreign Investment Ministry) based in Jakarta.

“Our mission to foster a more inclusive and sustainable economy which continuously is adapting to the evolving marketplace,” stated Intan Westlake, spokeswoman for Bali Foreign Investment Advisory.

“Originally founded in August 2020 as a response to the economic crisis on Bali triggered by the global pandemic, BFIA emerged from a conversation and an informal collaboration of senior women in investment services, some of whom were invited by President Jokowi to join the COVID Task Force to aid Bali’s economic recovery.”

Westlake further noted, “The evolution of BFIA’s new retail-suite investment from Canggu to Perenenean is aimed at helping and enhancing engagement with investors and supporting investments as economic activity growth continues to Bali’s northern regions”.

“To promote an inclusive economy, BFIA will support and sponsor two community initiatives, ‘Women’s Investment Entrepreneur Community Indonesia’, which was we established in 2021, and the ‘Women in ESG and Sustainability Summit’ to be held in late 2024 on Bali.”

Social Impact Fund

As part of BFIA’s commitment to fostering an inclusive economy, the organization has partnered with clients and the IDEP Foundation Bali to assist single mothers and their children in low-income rural areas across Bali since August 2020. This collaboration has positively impacted nearly 700 Indonesians. Muchamad Awal, Executive Director of IDEP Foundation, expressed deep gratitude for the partnership, stating, “For our beneficiaries, this support is immensely meaningful and plays a crucial role in alleviating their current economic hardships.”
