An official from the Badung Communication and Information Agency announced the provision of free Wifi connection for Kuta Beach visitors. The Head of the Badung Communication and Information Agency, I Nyoman Wiranata, confirmed that a total of five routers were installed to provide free internet access to beach visitors.
This programme was initiated to help all visitors utilise the PeduliLindungi tracing app, which is necessary to access the beach.
The WIFI connection is available along with the five main entrances of Kuta Beach. People can access this free internet connection at the five different main entrances: the boat parking area, the Kuta art market, Kuta Beach Bentar Temple, Kuta Village Temple and in front of the Kuta Beach Office area.
This programme hopefully will potentially revive tourism in the Kuta area, while at the same time will inspire other areas to do the same thing.
