In the Pioneer of the Wine Industry category, Hatten Wines was recognized for its dedication and innovation in building a high-quality wine ecosystem. The award was presented by Elvan Danny Sutrisno, Director of Government Collaboration at detik.com, to Ida Bagus Rai Budarsa, President Director of PT Hatten Bali Tbk, at the award ceremony held at The Trans Resort Bali on Saturday (March 22, 2025).

“We are truly grateful for this recognition. Since the beginning, Hatten Wines has been committed to developing the wine industry in Indonesia by prioritizing quality, innovation, and sustainability. This award further motivates us to continue creating and bringing Balinese wine to the global stage,” said Ida Bagus Rai Budarsa.

detikBali Awards 2025 is held to appreciate figures, individuals, businesses, and institutions that actively contribute to Bali’s development in various sectors. In his speech, Alfito Deannova, Editor-in-Chief of detikBali, emphasized the importance of progressive individuals in addressing Bali’s challenges. He hopes that the achievements of the award recipients will inspire more people to take part in the region’s development.

As the first wine producer in Bali, Hatten Wines has been pioneering the industry since 1994, continuously innovating by crafting high-quality wines made from locally grown grapes cultivated in vineyards in Seririt and Sanggalangit, North Bali. This award is a testament to the fact that Indonesia’s wine industry can compete and thrive with its own unique character and identity.

With this achievement, Hatten Wines is further motivated to advance the country’s wine industry and elevate Bali’s reputation as a world-class wine destination.
