Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach Cares for Breast Cancer Awareness

After recent Giving for Good activations throughout September, Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach collaborated with Bali Pink Ribbon, a Bali’s non-profit foundation that focused on Breast Cancer Awareness is proud to present PINK OCTOBER, which dedicated the whole month of October to all women. Pink October campaign is designed to support Breast Cancer Awareness by conducting several fund-raising activities including an Arts exhibition featuring two remarkable female artists, Ni Nyoman Sani and Ami Zijta from 12th through 31st of October, Yoga Session and Silent Auctions that will be held on 23rd October 2021, which all collected funds will be donated to support Breast Cancer Awareness activations.

Ni Nyoman Sani, a talented Balinese female artist who was born and spent her entire life in Bali, has uniquely captured women’s expression and spirit in most of her canvas. Sani’s works speak about the liberation and sovereignty of women yet she is well known for her painting style which vividly depicts the celebration of women’s fashion and life in various colour tones and brush strokes. As one of the top 100 finalists for the Philip Morris Indonesia Art Award (2000). Sani’s solo exhibitions have been held in several galleries and art spaces across Bali, Jakarta, Singapore, Italy, Germany, and Netherland. Her artworks were also exhibited in group exhibitions abroad such as in Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Germany, Guangzhou China, Perth, and Darwin. Meanwhile, Ami Zijta, founder of Amiga clothing line where the name was inspired from the Spanish term “mi amiga” which means “my girlfriends”, the AMIGA brand offers a fashion collection befitted to the femininity for all women. Started her own label in 2013, Amiga has gone through ups and down the situation and eagerly fight to pursue her dreams before she successfully expanded her business to cosmetic, perfume, jewellery and accessories as well as home décor products.

In addition, on the 23rd of October, the resort will host a Pink October special event. Only IDR 100k per person, every participant will have the opportunity to join half-day fun wellness activities including morning Yoga class with certified female Yoga teacher, a Talk show with remarkable guest speakers with the topic of breast cancer awareness as well as listening to inspiring life stories from the Breast Cancer survivor followed with the silent auction which supported by IHG Indonesia Hotels including InterContinental Bali Resort, InterContinental Jakarta as well as Holiday Inn Jakarta. Taking place at the resort’s Tree Bar’s outdoor space, the session will be commenced at 7.30am onwards and all the collected funds to support Breast Cancer awareness.
